FNC Forest Resource Management is a timber management consulting firm, listed with the Texas Forest Service. The company now manages approximately 210,000 acres of timberland in the East Texas area, with tracts ranging in size from 25 to 6,800 acres. In addition, the company has supervised the reforestation of over 3,300 acres of harvested or unproductive forestland during the past four planting seasons (2013 - 2016).
The firm is experienced in court testimony as an expert witness, as well as in unlitigated problem resolution. We are members of Texas Forestry Association, Society of American Foresters, Tree Farm System of America, and Consulting Foresters of America. Mr. Houser, Mr. Schmitt, and Mr. Wilson are all Certified Tree Farm Inspectors. Mr. Houser and Mr. Schmitt are Certified Foresters with the Society of American Foresters and members of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America. Mr. Wilson is a Candidate Certified Forester with the Society of American Foresters and a candidate member of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America.
