Work with landowners seeking specific help in any management areas that may include irrigation development, grain marketing, lease investment analysis, soil conservation, etc.

Irrigation System Management:
Work with both developing and improving the efficiency of irrigation systems to maximize its productivity and conserve underground water.

Success Story:
The first farm in York County and under my management to have variable speed irrigation pumps in wells installed so that the correct pressure and volume of water is always delivered to the center pivots. For corner system center pivots especially, the systems efficiencies are significantly improved by delivering a steady amount of water as needed for the corner systems as they turn on and off during irrigating. This results in water and fuel savings, as well as less pump wear producing increased profits for the landowner.

On another farm, irrigation was developed on a dryland unit that had suffered from drought for several years. It was generally felt in the area that an economically feasible irrigation system could not be developed due to water being very limited. Through thorough research and testing, I was able to locate a very good water supply for the new center pivot. This farm today has an increased value of $400,000 by virtue of the irrigation project.

Implemented hunting leases on three client farms that have been very successful and improved net income to the landowner significantly.
