Started James Houser Consulting Foresters LLC (JHCF)in 1981 In November 2013, Farmers National Company acquired the majority of the assets of JHCF and created the Forest Resource Management Division. Professional Accomplishments: -Member and past President (2003) of Texas Forestry Association (TFA) -2006 and 2012 recipient of the TFA's Ed Waggoner Leadership Award -Member of the Consulting Foresters of America (ACF) -Member of the Society of American Foresters (SAF) -2013 recipient of the L.C. Walker Leadership Award, SAF Texas Chapter -Member and Certified Tree Farm Inspector with American Tree Farm System (ATFS) -Recipient of numerous Tree Farm Inspector Awards -Texas Accredited Forester (TAF) with Texas Accredited Forester Council of the TFA -Certified Technical Services Provider(TSP) for the United States Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) -Named by USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack to serve three years on the Forest Resource Coordinating Committee (FRCC) in 2011.
