Client Comment(s): "Thank you again for the way you handled the sale and achieved the desired result. You and Boyd had obviously done your legwork and homework and created a pleasant and professional auction. Everyone was happy. All the buyers were pleased with what they bought and appeared to believe that they paid a fair price. The sellers are elated. We have a plan for the use of the funds that will enable the organization to move forward in a way that would not otherwise be possible. Fran joins me in wishing you the very best and in telling you that it is a pleasure doing business with you. We also appreciate the way you told the group how the sale of the farm will go toward meeting the organizational goals of taking care of youth." --Joe
"Thank you for the fine Analysis and Planning Report for 2006. Thanks also for the fine work you did to put the farm in CRP. Now we will not have to be overly concerned about weather, bugs, etc.!" -- Harold A Munson, Client
"Thank you for your explanations of the annual expenses. You did an excellent job of answering our questions and making everything clear. We have said to each other so many times how lucky we are to have you as our farm manager. We truly feel that our land is in the best of hands!" -- CE and Beka Haverkamp
"Thank you for your work on the auction. I can’t believe the farm garnered that much. Farmers National did another great job getting us top dollar for our properties!" Kevin P. Roberts, Trust Real Estate Officer, Commerce Trust Company
"Thanks to you for conducting the auction in a very professional manner. I firmly believe the higher-than-expected results were at least partly due to the Farmers National regional marketing which brought us bidders beyond the local area. Without these regional bidders, we would likely have been at the mercy of the locals, who hesitate to bid against their neighbors and one another." -- Jerry Isaac
Success Story: Major improvements to a Farm: We had two old farmsteads (house, barns and cattle lots) that had no utility or functional value. This farmstead was razed and totally cleaned up giving the landowner an additional 12 acres of highly productive farmland. This cleanup allowed us to utilize nearby pasture for crop production. We removed potential liability problems and created a much more attractive farm. The client is extremely happy with positive the income stream and operator no longer has to mow weeds around the old buildings.
