Troy Parsell currently has active Certified General Appraiser licenses in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. He has had temporary permits in a number of other states to meet clients needs and also provides global appraisal reviews. Troy is actively licensed with the State of Michigan as a real estate sales agent.
Troy has attended college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan. He has taken and continues to take classes with the Appraisal Institute and other schools to stay current in industry techniques and maintain his license requirements. Troy is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and was the Michigan Chapter President from 2012 to 2013.

Troy Parsell is a Farmers National Company Area Appraisal Manager with his office in Lapeer, Michigan. Besides the day-to-day management of the office and staff, he serves as the contact for all clients regarding projects. Troy began his appraisal career in 1989 and is now a Senior Appraiser. He specializes in complex appraisals with expertise in many areas including agri-business, farms and ranches, grain and livestock facilities, vacant and improved farmland, greenhouses, nurseries, orchards, vineyards, recreational and developmental lands, commercial and industrial properties, and aggregate mining operations. Troy has provided appraisal review assistant locally as well as globally. He also is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Michigan.
Troy brings a wide range of experience to the FNC team. He grew up on his families farm in rural Tuscola County, Michigan and has been active in local government and also his church. He has worked as an accident research specialist, managed a distributorship for a docking system, before he began appraisal work in 1989. Troy is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
