Responsibilities at FNC:
Assist non-operating landowners and investors in the management duties of their farms and ranches.
By helping land owners with their properties, I work with them and the operators to achieve their short and long-term goals. Goals which may include profitability, productivity, care and sustainability, recreation, or to be able to pass the farm or ranch on to the next generation.
Assist landowners in the sale of their farm or ranch when the time comes or the decision is made to sell their investment or possibly their legacy. We take a personal marketing approach for each landowner to maximize the results of a successful sale.
Member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) since 2010

Director on the Nebraska Chapter ASFMRA
Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) since 2004
Our ranch in Nebraska has been a part of my family since the 1880s when my great grandparents homesteaded the land. For as long as I can remember, Farmer’s National has also been a part of my family, helping my parents and grandparents manage the property. When my mom passed away, I inherited the farm and I guess you could say Andy inherited me – a born and bred city kid who lives several states away. My knowledge of farming and ranching can fit in a thimble, which is why I cannot overstate my appreciation for Andy Fehringer. His attention to our farm, his patience with me and his genial personality made working with him an absolute pleasure.
When we decided to sell our ranch in 2019, I can honestly say we couldn’t have done it without Andy. Throughout the process, his advice was solid and his concern for our land and our family was sincere. He went to great lengths to secure offers – even if it meant driving hours to meet with a potential buyer. Thanks to Andy’s hard work and understanding of the area and the local real estate market, we sold our ranch in one week for the asking price! I credit Andy with making the entire process smooth and seamless.
