About Shane

Shane Cole hails from a family with deep-rooted ties to farming and ranching spanning four generations. He joined Farmer’s National Company in 2025 as a seasoned Farm Manager, bringing over a decade of experience managing properties across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon since 2013. Shane supervises farming and ranching operations by collaborating with tenants, maintaining clear communication with landowners, working closely with FSA and NRCS personnel, conducting regular physical inspections, and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and preserve asset value. In addition, Shane holds a Louisiana Real Estate License and is actively pursuing additional licensures in nearby states.

Before his tenure at Farmer’s National Company, Shane provided contracted farm management services for Farmland Company, based in Spokane, Washington, from 2021 to 2025. Previously, he spent nearly nine years with Bank of America, managing farm and ranch assets through their Specialty Asset Management Group—serving Private Bank trust clients and high-net-worth individuals. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cole worked in the oil and gas pipeline sector, gaining valuable expertise in negotiating surface use agreements and assessing damages related to oil and gas activities. Prior to this, Shane owned and managed a civil construction contracting business, an experience that informs his daily decision-making in property management.

Currently residing in Ragley, LA, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife, Crystal, and their two sons, Cooper and Carter. He is passionate about outdoor activities, farming and ranching, family life, and remains engaged in his local church community.
