About Eric
Eric brings more than 20 years of experience in farmland brokerage, auctions, and farmland fund management, having been directly involved in the acquisition, disposition, and management of thousands of acres of farmland representing several hundred million dollars in value throughout the United States. His clients and partners have included individuals and families, private and public funds, institutional investors, and bank and trust companies nationwide.
Eric has a long-standing connection to Farmers National Company, having previously spent nine years with FNC (2010–2019) as a Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer. During that time, he facilitated and conducted more than 500 farmland auctions and private-treaty transactions, working closely with FNC’s farm managers and agents across the Midwest. That experience provides him with a deep understanding of FNC’s platform, culture, and the collaborative model that has made the company the nation’s leading agricultural real estate and land management firm.
Prior to rejoining FNC, Eric was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sower Farmland, where he helped establish and lead two U.S. row-crop farmland investment funds—Sower Farmland Fund and Legacy Farmland Fund. In that role, he guided overall strategy, served on investment committees and advisory boards, and worked closely with investors, operators, and professional advisors to structure and manage long-term farmland investments.
Earlier in his career, Eric served as a Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer with PJ Morgan Real Estate, conducting farmland, commercial, and residential real estate transactions while also managing diverse property portfolios. Eric is a frequent presenter on farmland markets and ownership strategies and has served in leadership roles with numerous professional, civic, and church organizations, including board service, capital campaigns, and ethics committees.
