Denver McPhail serves as Vice President – Director of Operations in the Energy Management Division of Farmers National Company (FNC), one of the nation's largest independent energy management firms with over 220K assets generating over $1B/year in gross revenue. With a team of over 50 energy professionals with decades of experience and expertise in all sectors of the energy industry, FNC provides its clients with exceptional customer service with the primary goal of consistently improving each client’s profitability.
FNC’s clients include banks, trust companies, financial advisors, non-profits, universities, hospitals, railroads, family offices and individuals, and each client is offered custom, turnkey solutions for their specific energy management needs. Prior to joining FNC, Denver spent his entire 18-year career in the oil and gas industry in various roles in business development and land management.
He began his career with Halliburton Energy Servies where he performed well-site operations in well cementing, reservoir stimulation and well logging. He moved into land management at Samson Investment Company and has spent the past 11 years serving as Land Manager for BRG Energy Inc managing all acquisitions, divestitures, land and legal matters. Denver has managed over $150MM in transactions, 700 operated wells, 350 non-operated wells, 300,000 acres of leasehold, minerals and surface in 11 states and Canada.
Denver received his M.B.A., with a focus in finance, from the University of Kansas; his B.B.A in both marketing and international business from the University of Oklahoma.
